Master of Contradiction

The grin went ear-to-ear at discovering that ruuscal had used my favorite Stephen Maria Crane poem to illustrate some of his (her?) grand photographic work over at American Idyll.

I saw a man pursuing the horizon;

Round and round they sped.

I was disturbed at this;

I accosted the man.

"It is futile," I said,

"You can never — "

"You lie," he cried,

And ran on.
